Dr. Satish Jain has over 20 years’ experience in the design and engineering of building structures. Dr. Jain has his PhD and M.S. in Structural engineering from Iowa State University, USA and his PhD work was in the field of structural applications using Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC). He is a licensed structural engineer in both the USA and India and has been involved with designing challenging structures across both countries. His expertise spans high-rise structures, unbonded post-tensioning, performance based seismic design and UHPC. Dr. Jain’s current initiative involves promoting the use of UHPC in India through material manufacturing, research, material and application development, training, engineering and project management services. He is also a committee member of the Precast and Prestressed Concrete Institute of America (PCI) and the Professional Engineers, Architects, and Town Planners Association of India (PEATA).
