Dr. Satish Jain chosen as the first Chair of ICI-TC on UHPC

“UHPC India Pvt. Ltd delighted to announce that Dr. Satish Jain, Mr. Ankush Jain and Mr. Raghavendra DS are chosen for Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) technical committee ICI – TC/14 and IRC B4.5 sub-committee on UHPC, respectively.

UHPC India Pvt. Ltd is delighted to announce that our Managing Director, Dr. Satish Jain has been chosen as the first Chair of the Indian Concrete Institute’s (ICI) Technical Committee ICI-TC/14 on UHPC. We are also delighted to announce that Dr. Satish Jain is also a member of the Indian Road Congress IRC B4.5 sub-committee on UHPC. 

It doesn’t stop here. Our Head of R&D, Raghvendra D.S. has also been chosen as a member of the IRC B4.5 committee on UHPC, and our Head of UHPC Structural Design, Ankush Jain has been chosen as part of the ICI’s Technical committee ICI-TC/14 on UHPC. 

While the IRC B4.5 is focused on creating the Indian Standard on UHPC, the focus of the ICI-TC/14 committee is tasked to bring out technical documents on UHPC keeping practising engineers in mind as the prime beneficiaries. 

Both the above are in line with UHPC India’s Vision and Mission statement and will create awareness in the ease of using UHPC in the construction industry. The hope is to bring a comfort level amongst the engineering community in adopting UHPC for design of both new and repair of existing structures.
